Data Sources & Methodology
Data Aggregation
Lense Analytics builds its datasets by aggregating information from company filings, government and central bank economic releases, and market pricing data. These raw inputs are cleaned, standardized, and combined into a consistent format before any indicator is calculated.
Calculations & Indicators
Many of the metrics on Lense — including valuation ratios, concentration measures, and implied growth indicators — are calculated directly from underlying financial statement and market data, rather than taken pre-computed from a single provider. Where a metric is original to Lense, its definition and calculation approach are described on the corresponding indicator page.
Update Frequency
Market data and quotes are refreshed frequently throughout the trading day. Fundamental and economic data are updated on a daily or periodic basis as new filings and releases become available.
Quality Control
Incoming data passes through validation and consistency checks before being incorporated into Lense's datasets. Figures found to be erroneous, duplicated, or inconsistent with prior reporting are corrected as part of this ongoing process.
